Understand the observation, not just the label.
A useful report explains where an observation was recorded, what the inspector found, why it matters, and what follow-up was recommended.

What do the report labels mean?

An item marked “Inspected” is not automatically free of deficiencies. Read the selections together with the comments and explanations for that system or component.

These labels organize individual entries in the supplemental findings overview. They do not replace the TREC form or function as a whole-property score. Numbered observations are distinct from the number of systems or checked sections.

No. The public samples contain selected pages that demonstrate the report format. References within those pages may refer to sections of the original full report, not pages included in the excerpt.
No. It is a separate supplementary reference document. Review it alongside the inspection report rather than using it as a replacement for the property-condition findings.
Yes. The walkthrough provides an opportunity to discuss findings, but the written reports contain the complete documentation for the services performed. Review all available documents and contact MVI about anything unclear.
The documents depend on the selected services and the inspection scope. Refer to the service description and your inspection documents for the applicable deliverables.
The report may be shared for the inspection’s permitted purposes, including obtaining advice and planning repairs. Sharing does not turn the report into a new inspection or automatically create independent reliance rights for another person. Keep the report intact and follow the applicable agreement.
