Flight conditions
Aerial documentation depends on weather, visibility, obstacles, property access, FAA requirements, airspace restrictions, and safe operation. Some locations require airspace authorization before flight.
Visible conditions
Photographs document what can be seen from the available viewpoints. They do not reveal concealed roof layers or replace every close-range inspection method. Some deficiencies may be missed without physical roof access.
Further evaluation
Aerial imagery does not certify that a roof is leak-free, determine its remaining service life, or establish the cause of every visible condition. Additional evaluation may be recommended.
If conditions prevent flight
If weather or other conditions prevent flight, MVI will follow the applicable inspection and documentation process available for the property.
